   In Portugal, shortly after the first trains’ implementation, the hot springs' market grew exponentially in popularity. 

   Thanks to the ease of access these trains provided, the general population went from not having a feasible journey to the hot springs, to being only a short train ride away from them. Be it for the sake of leisure or treatment, the fact is that there was no shortage of people interested in experiencing the miracle waters rumored to help all kinds of human conditions.

   In Viagem Termal, you play as an entrepreneur of the XXth century with the objective to buy thermae all around Portugal, in hopes of establishing a monopoly over the hot springs’ market. You, however, aren’t alone in this goal, as you will be faced with similar visionaries who’ll try to interfere with your plans and take the monopoly for themselves.
